There are two hard drives im looking at and i just wanted to get your opinions on each of them. The main thing that im trying to decide is whether the 32mb cache is going to make that much of a difference than a 16mb cache.

More cache is better, but may not be noticeable as usefulness differs for every situation. It will decrease the read times for accessing files on the hard drive that are read often and not loaded into RAM. I have several Seagates and they all work well. I've never had a Samsung drive so I can't speak about them specifically.

I have always heard that SeaGates are reliable but I have heard nothing about Samsung drives.

If you have the money for it buy a SSD Drive for your OS and games and some larger drive for storage.  Also i have always had good luck with the seagates ive used and they get good reviews whenever ive looked.
