Is there a way to keep both plugged in at the same time?  Not use both at the same time.  Just both plugged in so I don't want to have to keep changing the cable every time I want to switch to use the other device.  The back of my lcd monitor only has 1 port to plug stuff in.

if your 360 has an HDMI, get an HDMI to VGA switch and have your PC running from VGA.

This is counting that your monitor has both a VGA and a DVI port.

    KVM switch works too

If your monitor has DVI then use the DVI for the PC and buy the 360 VGA cable for the VGA port.

I used to have to deal with all that hooking and unhooking but I don't think I'll ever use a monitor again. I got a small HDTV that has a VGA port for my computer, HDMI for my PS3, Component for my 360, and a regular coaxial hook up for my TV. And the speakers are attached so I don't have to deal with weird radio shack adapters to get my sound from each different device. I would like a bigger TV eventually, but until some rich uncle I didn't know I had dies and leaves me a million dollars, this setup is working pretty good.
