Also, is there a big difference between the 560GTX and the 460GTX?

So I noticed that no one commented to help you. I've got nothing, but here's this bump to keep it in the spotlight.

Haha thanks, I have it posted on the Tested forums as well so I'm sure some helpful Samaritan will come along at some point.

Here's a neat link you might want to check out when deciding what graphics card you want to buy. I'm assuming you know what SLI is.

@Bucketdeth:  Your choice of parts looks ok.  Nice selection of mid range components and a good graphics card.  The only things I did notice are that your hard drive is SATA 3 and your motherboard only supports SATA 2.  So you would be losing up to 50% in read speed.  Also the motherboard is micro ATX which limits your options if you plan on adding extra cards at a later point.  I'd switch up the motherboard to something like this:
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131647  its cheaper too.
I guessing that you don't plan on using SLI in the future as the original motherboard you chose was AMD crossfire ready .

I'd also use a different cooler to the one that comes with the 955.  I have the same processor and I can overclock it quite nicely with a quality heatsink such as:
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835118223
You could replace this at a later date if you ever felt like overclocking.

Thanks for the link :). Yeah I do know what SLI is but I wasn't planning on using 2 cards, this does reassure my purchase of the 560GTX though as the chart has it pretty high up.

Ah, thanks for the tips! I'm fairly new to building PC's and I was wondering, how could you tell the mother board only supports SATA 2?

and I totally forgot about buying a better fan for the CPU.

Oh and also, I need the motherboard to be AM3+ so I have more options in the future if I want to upgrade.

The description of the motherboard says SATA 3.0 Gb/s, which is SATA 2.  SATA 3 is 6.0 Gb/s.

Makes sense, I couldn't find that particular model of motherboard you posted on Tigerdirect (site I always order from) so I'll have to keep looking.

I presume you 're planning to use the stock heatsink? My reccomendation would be to get an after market one, they're a lot more efficient, better looking, and allow for easier overclocking (if you're going to do that)

Somebody already mentioned heatsink. My bad xD
