Wow there is a texture pack on those Oblivion shots, i would hate to see the game vanilla then.
@Resident4t:
The lighting in Witcher 2 is amazing, so are the texture work. Its amazing that the game is running DX9.

@emergency: Having played a bunch of Oblivion lately, that looks just like vanilla oblivion.
The difference is actually quite striking. QARL's texture pack is the main one. It's like 2.7GB of retexturing.

Ok, then that is pretty noticeable.
@easthill: I don't mod games like that for that very reason, I just start infinitely pursuing new user made content, and stop playing the actual game.

@BeachThunder: WHY DOES IT LOOK SO MUCH PRETTIER FOR YOU? Is it my 22'' resolution? Does your slightly higher resolution make THAT BIG OF A DIFFERENCE? Damn your Alice screens look like sex while mine (maxed out) look like kissing.
I honestly don't know, I did tweak some values in the AliceEngine.ini file. I doubt that it altered things that much - it was mainly to try to fix the framerate.
Also, I looked at your screens, they don't seem to fit your resolution correctly, can that be fixed?
Started playing Fable 3. A friend of mine gifted it to me. Played Fable on the original XBOX and love it, even though it wasn't the game Peter sold it to be, but depiste that i still beat it 3-4 times. Fable 2 i finished on 360, again the game was not what was promised, and i felt that the constant load screens where fucking annoying. But still had some fun with the game.
So now onto Fable 3 on PC, first of its clear its console port, and a pretty dodgy one at that, tried playing with KB/M which is about as useless as a rubbery peg-leg. Art style is as its been in the previous games, but the animations are so stiff its hurts. And the graphics are not very good either. But i'm going to give it a go anyhow, see if it has any redeeming qualities.

I have a 2500k, EVGA superclocked 580, 16gb ram, and running at 1920*1080. The game looks great. Crazy smooth framerate, feels awesome shooting, the character animation is awesome, amazing voicework, and fun enemies to fight. Yes, there are some tearing issues, and if you make it a point to look for it, there are some pop-in issues, along with notthehighestrez textures. But this is a game worth it. Maybe not the $60 I paid for it, but pick it up for $30-$40, you'll have a blast.

PS. I used the URL uploader for these screenshots. From my Steam profile. Worked like a dream....awesome job Top Men!!
I hate you for posting better looking screenshots than mine is all :)@AhmadMetallic said:
@BeachThunder: I know we're pals but.. fuck you. Sell your copy of alice NOW!!Wait, what? I'm so confused =(
Die.
@Resident4t: I was gonna buy Saints Row 2, but I heard it majorly blows on PC.
Apparently whenever you drive, the cars constantly lag and the game freezes and you end up ramming the pedestrians and pillars all the time. Is that your experience?
