Continuing with Unigine, here's some shots from their demo "Sanctuary": 
 

The visual distortion I was talking about can be seen in one of the screenshots I posted before (the second, look at the guy's shoulder pad's metallic edge and you can notice how it becomes destorted and net-like if you look closely) so, no, it's got nothing to do with whatever display I may be using stretching the image. It's right in that actual size screenshot. They're 720p because I've been playing it windowed multiasking but it still has all settings maxed and 4xMSAA. So, I only asked if it's a known issue for certain graphics cards or something as The Witcher is the only other game I encountered a similar visual distortion in and it only happens during dialogue scenes and not actual gameplay, similar to The Witcher again. It's like it's got some weird pixel shader that doesn' t function as it really should on top of the image, it can be annoying on character faces and such.

I don't have the game installed since my last format because the game has drm and I only get a few installation limits. However I found some old screenshots of crysis warhead. I resized them to fit and i'm testing to see if this resolution would fit on this thread better since I think my full size screenshots are too big to fit the thread. Belive it or not I didn't post any crysis warhead screenshots yet, maybe just one screenshot. The screenshots might look good and exagerated, however it doesn't compare to the original crysis on very high, it doesn't look all that real texture wise. However it's still good enough I suppose.

 

   I accentially didn't set everything to extra for textures, normal maps and specular maps, it's on aufomatic which isn't the best the game could look. However it's a treyard game, who cares since he doesn't make the best use of the engine's graphics imo, not like your even going to notice. I'm going to use these screenshots because I still think they are quite good. Post more screenshots ppl.

Bah, turns out you need to hit Print Screen to screenshot Company Of Heroes. Been hitting both F11 and F12 (can't remember which game used those) to "make sure" I took one. I'll try and put some up when I play CoH next time. Been playing the British campaign, pretty fun expansions. Wish there was a screenshot function in 360 games (+ cable to connect to computer), that'd be great.

Give me about a week and I will have some screens to contribute =)

I started batman all over again due to the format, however I always wanted to post bigger screenshots, I resized it on imageshack to fit the forum, hope it still has all the details that way. Hope you don't mind so many bigger screenshots. I will be posting other games later on. I just want to get this game out of the way.

And yes, I do use the "Cheat Mod". Makes the game more fun.

I used to have better screenshots, these would have to do. I don't think i've posted this game before on this thread.

I don't have that many ingame screenshots and I can't play this game on steam right now, it doesn't work, there is an error other ppl are getting too. 

Been playing DiRT 2 a bit. Looks pretty good in motion. Runs between 40 and 50 FPS, maxed out at 2560x1600. It's a lot of fun too! :)

Must have missed the part saying this is a competition. If someone takes the time to run games in slow ass mode just to grab a few screens and show us something pretty then more power to him. Having had the money/will for a decent PC doesn't make you (or me) better than anyone else.

I can get newer games with framerate counters if you want, there is no need to challege me just because pc games are sharper than you realised. i'm sure others has higher framerates, however considering the game runs at 30 frames per second on consoles, it's good enough. I honestly didn't mean to use so many screenshots for this post, I had to make a point. Neither do I have to change my posting style of screenshots for one skeptic. I met the skeptic's challenge with this post. I just don't want that dumb counter on my screenshots yet it all runs well. Just remember this post next time.  

  There was too many screenshots for my last post so I can't edit it anymore, can't ppl just belive me when I say everything runs well enough? I don't have a problem playing these games. I was going to post new games that haven't been posted, now I have to reinstall existing games like resident evil 5 which looks great btw just to prove that I can play them flawlessly to one skeptic, after this I will not use the framerate counter because I don't want numbers ruining my screenshots. Next time I will ignore your comments and refer back to this page.
 
Sorry for the lousy framerate sample screenshots, I just started it again and I have no motivation to play this game today because I have to prove it to an individual that I don't have problems running these games. I could of posted alot more other games for these post.

The hell? Get some decent reading comprehension Hitman. What I said is what I said and I never implied anything else at all, it's all crystal clear. I never said you can't run Crysis well and yes, it runs absolutely fine on my GTX285, though that has nothing to do with anything I said.

Tons of people have posted screenshots in this thread without frame rate counters and they shouldn't have to post frame rate counters to justify their posts. If someone wants to show me something pretty even though he doesn't run it very well then that's fine by me, more power to him (I said it in the comment that offended you and I'm saying it again because it's how I feel), and this does not in any way imply I think you run Crysis slow (that guy did not point to any user in particular and I responded to his general comment in a just as general manner).

It says what it says, it doesn't try to snipe anyone, it stands by whoever may not have great specs but wants to show pretty scenes that impressed him and should not in any way offend people who do have great specs as it doesn't refer to them at all so I don't see why you got so upset over it.

Simply put, I'm against the dude who questioned the screenshots' credentials and against the fact you took up such a stupid challenge (but hey it's your call, do what you want and I won't stop you from it, I just won't go along with it), so I will post no more screenshots, it's simple.

I thought it's a thread to post screenshots, not to challenge and compete with each other's e-penis based on specs and how good the games run, and since it came to that, I will no longer take part in it, even though I do run most all of the games shown here absolutely fine, because it's not about my specs, it's about the whole attitude displayed. Feel free to disagree and keep posting, I didn't and won't try to stop you, one does what one wants.

Still, even if you disagree, instead of understanding that our opinion differs and moving on, you once again twist things I said, add your own meaning (snipe? a comment empowering people with low specs is a snipe at you? you're not the center of my world dude) to them and respond according to that twisted interpretation instead of what I actually wrote, just like you did in the other thread which has no relation to this thread and my comments in it. I should note the part that inexplicably offended you (the snipe, lol) was written long before our argument in the other thread. In short, get over it/me.

What if I didn't post those framerates? Would I show more class if someone keeps insisting false statements against me? He would kept insisting that I can't run those games well. You think it would be better to not adress it for me and others? I think I did the right thing and it's your decision not to post. You might not be directing that at me, however I doubt I can say for the same for yorro. Maybe I should go ask him directly instead, yet instead I just posted my framerates and it's misinterpted as elitism. No it's not a competition, however there are misconceptions that if a pc game looks good, it doesn't run well, maybe it's console paridigm way of thinking. I dont' have the newest rig, I can still play everything on it just fine regardless. Just for the record, i'm not posting high settings with low framerates and I am glad I adressed that. It's not elistism, rather it's reality. It's also tough not to twist things if you take everything too literally since words can have different meanings to different ppl causing misunderstanding when you think your meaning is the right one and clear which is just your opinion. Also your post has alot of room for interpretation, it's not always crystal clear because of that. Other than that, I adressed the topic of framerates and your comments, that's all I have to say on the topic because I rather post screenshots. He can't say anything about framerates anymore now lastly to others al3xand3r says the truth, he can play crysis well, it's a misconception that others can't run it well enough. I have more problems running crysis warhead than crysis tbh. See you around, I have nothing against you regardless, I don't even care, it's not a big deal. 
  
Well back on topic, can't remember if I posted these before. I'll have to reinstall a few more games and take screenshots then. I think i'll be going for a ubisoft theme for the next few post. I'll just post some cod 4 for now even if it's an old game, I still think the graphics are good.
