Anything I can do to make more room? I hate these new games that I keep buying like Dead space that eat up like 8 gigs each! I also have tons and tons of music from itunes. What should I do?

The PC (Personal Computer) is a highly configurable and upgradable gaming platform that, among home systems, sports the widest variety of control methods, largest library of games, and cutting edge graphics and sound capabilities.
So I only have 900MB of Hard Drive space from my 250GB hard drive
"You could RAR the games you dont play."That's actually a really good idea... I never thought about that.
Do like I do: buy an external that you use to install all your games on, then when you wanna play a game, hook it up on that. That way, you don't eat up your primary drive and cause too many memory gaps when you go to uninstall them. Leave your internal HDD for basic files, programs, and such. External for music, movies, and games.
Uninstall stuff you don't use, delete stuff. I have a backup partition on my hard drive and although I try and keep it nice and tidy over the last year it has got so unorganized I have duplicate image files of the same game even! If you haven't already turn off System restore or at least reduce the amount of disk space reserved for system restore. If you have another computer on your LAN then enable file sharing and store some of your stuff on that computer, this is a good idea for music and videos because you can play them on your computer over the network so you can still watch/listen to them even though they are not stored on your computer. Getting an external HDD is also not a bad idea.

If only 360's came with 250gb hard drives...
And he has posted this in the PC area, so unless he is talking about his modded PS3, i think he's talking about a PC :)"

Uninstall things you don't use. Not fucking hard. This isn't some 512 mb Wii memory "Fridge cleanout", this is a 250 GB HDD.
Also, 1 TB drives are shockingly cheap these days. I'm thinking of Raid 1+0'ing 4 1 TB drives next time I buy a new rig.
Uninstall stuff, also you can used CCleaner to help you remove all the junk that Windows make.

If your not sure where you hard drive space is going to check out Space Monger v1.4.0 http://www.sixty-five.cc/download/
Click on Free software and scroll down to download it. Its really usefull and maps your drive out to see file sizes and where things are located.
"Get a new harddrive... But other than that yea, uninstall. Is there really any point in keeping a game on your machine you have not played in months?"Yup. Take your essential stuff like MP3's and video files, downloaded updates for you hardware, any porn (c'mon you KNOW you have a collection), and game saves, and put it on a second hard drive that can't be touched by the fact you are about to reformat and reinstall Windows on your original hard drive. I never have a PC without two HDD for this reason, and after a year of running windows I always somehow accumulate tens of gigs of unknown diskspace that is always rectified by just cleaning the slate. Windows ALWAYS runs better and quicker after this in my experience anyway.
Get a Hardrive... Use one for applications (browsers, music etc...) and the other for games only. (Thats what I do, I have two hardrives... 372 gigas and 232 gigas)

Also if you have windows....
Go to my computer...
Click on your main disk
Do disk cleanup, because sometimes if you haven't in a while it can account for a few gigs.
I have a 120GB, and I just uninstall games when I'm done with them. It only takes a little while to install games, so why not? High capacity HDDs are for the weak.
I have a 100gig and a 250gig in my computer and I'm constantly running running out of space because I do a lot of video editing and uncompressed video takes up tons of space. But I'm not sure what the problem is. Can't you buy a stack of DVD's and just archive the stuff and keep it in a cd binder or something?
diddent want to read all 46 replay's so buy a new hdd a 500gibs arent that expensive or even a 1tb rar all the files that you dont use but dont want to get rid of or burn out on a disc (like photo's)
do a disc clean up uninstall games that you dont intend to play
Defragment your HDD
brun out all your porn on a disc that alone will proberly give you 150gibs
Buy a new HDD.
I have a 160GB for just Windows + Programs & Games.
I then have 2 x 1TBs for my data storage (music, backups, videos etc). Also have externals which have data on them too (I don't have them installed cause they'll just waste power when being idle).
How many games do you want installed on your computer lol.
I have heaps of programs installed (Adobe Photoshop CS2, Microsoft Office, 3dMark06, 3dMark Vantage, PhysX benchmarks etc) and quite a few games (Audiosurf, C&C3 Red Alert 3, CS 1.6, CS:Source, Dawn of War 40k + Winter Assault + Dark Crusade, Dawn of War 2, Far Cry 2, Gears of War, L4D, TF2 & Spore) installed on my 160GB (149GB usable space) and I still have 60GB free lol.
I've found that for most people that I build computers for, 250GB is the most they'd need for Windows (Vista) + programs and games. I also like keeping system drives separate from data storage drives. On my 2 x 1TBs I have a mirror of a fresh install on one of them, so that when I format, I don't need to bother with reinstalling everything over again.
This is a pointless topic tbh. I have a laptop with a 250GB HD, I have all the latest games and some classics on it, I just unistall and reinstall. I also have a huge movie collection and get tv shows which I keep on a daily basis. BUY an EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE. I have a 500GB MyBook and store everything I dont use on a regualr basis on it, install files ect and old achieved tv shows and films.
