    You're probably using build 7000. I think if you upgrade to 7100 or newer you won't get that problem.

    I'm running Windows 7 on a tower I built from scratch. So when this thing expires on me I'm screwed, cause I dunno what to install.

    It expires the summer of 2010. You have some time. Just buy Windows 7 when it comes out.

    Did you really just shoehorn all Linux and Windows Server OS's into "Other"? :p  ... and where's the "I Run Multiple OS's" option? 

    I guess I'll put Windows 7 RC, because that's what I'm gaming-on right now, but the computer I use most for work is running Windows Server 2008 R2 RC. 

    I also have Ubuntu on my laptop and Yellow Dog on my PS3 :p

    I'm currently dual booting Windows 7 RC and Ubuntu 9.04.  I mainly use Windows because this site is currently jacked on Ubuntu and so is Youtube.  Does anyone have any recommendation for fixing it?  I like Ubuntu way more I just can't enjoy my favourite site so I use it less.

    Win7 expires June 2010 and in March 2010 it will shut down your system after 2 hours of usage. Just pay for a license in October when it becomes available.

    Sorry I don't know much about Linux so I didn't know what to put for it. I didn't make a space for mulitible OS's so that people would just put the one they use the most on the poll and say what others they use when they post.

    I'm mostly using Windows Server 2008 R2 RC for Hyper-V (for Virtual Machines), where I run almost every Windows OS known to man, for building and testing software.  I think on a daily basis, I actually don't use one Windows version over another.

    XP Home.  Going to build a new computer by the end of '10 I'm thinking, or whenever usb 3.0 comes out.  And Diablo 3 :D
    so at that point I'll either stick with XP or shoot for 7

    Linux at work, Vista at home. Sometimes I go to a friend's house to cheat on my OS's with a Mac, and I always feel dirty after.

    Oh, the one that came out in 2005. The only reason I remember that is because I wanted ot stream stuff to my Xbox at the time when it came out and I couldn't because I didn't have that edition.

    No, Windows 7 releases in October 2009. Starting March 2010 the RC will start shuting down your computer every two hours and after June 2010 the RC will stop working.

    In the case of going from beta to RC i believe you have to clean install.  I think Microsoft has a page on it.
