Does this game have a story? In previous games like Persona 4 Arena Ultimax they've skipped adding in the P3 hero as playable due to his status at the end of P3. I wonder how they plan to get around that. They did tease a possible out at the end of P4 Arena, so maybe they'll follow up on that.

I have to say that seeing them in the new art style is very cool. P3 is so great. It was weird hearing the Japanese VO for this trailer. I couldn't recognize who anyone was.

Just replay this loop for the course of the game. It's all you need.

I'm very much looking forward to these three games. Hopefully we'll soon get an announcement of a domestic release, with upfront information about voice options, so I can decide on whether to pre-order the Japanese PS4 triple pack.

As I understand it, yes, but not a canon one this time. It's more of a "what if" scenario.

I do like the idea though of a canon mid P3 substory where all of these very sad people find the time and energy to have a big dance off.

@zeik: There is no story in these games, thank goodness for that (in my opinion). There are uncanon character interactions, which I assume is something akin to Fire Emblem's support system.

Not at all! P4D was incredibly fun and caught me off guard with how quality it was, so these'll probably also be excellent. I'm jealous you're going to get to experience them way before I do.

@joedangerous: You can still pre-order any of the versions on Play-Asia. For the standard versions, they're only about $6 more than normal. I'm primarily in it for the music, so not being able to read the text isn't too much of a bother. I did the same when Puyo Puyo Tetris first came out in Japan.

Adding in garbage characters like Sho or Labrys instead of the female protagonist as DLC is goddamn crime.

@hmoney001: Depending on when you ask me, it is either her or Aigis. I like Yukari and all, but she is a distant third. I do prefer the English VA for Elizabeth, though.

It surprises me sometimes how much more I appreciate the characters in P3 as a whole over both P4 and P5.
