PS4. I've got one, so I don't see a reason to not get it there.

The question should really just be, do you have a PS4 or not?

I'm not sold on Persona 5 as I can't say I'm all that invested in the series. I watched the ER and enjoyed it, but a lot of it was down to Jeff and Vinny's commentary. I don't know if I could played through the whole thing myself. I also tried Persona 3 but loathed just about all the characters I came into contact with.

That said, I still like a lot of the ideas behinds the games so I'm not writing off P5 entirely just yet. And if I was to get it it would be on PS4. Duh.

Assuming it's a simultaneous release I don't know why you wouldn't get the PS4 version

Agreed - though it'll be interesting seeing how many people don't plan to jump ship to the new gen by the time this game comes out.

Already planning to get a PS4 sometime next year because of a lot of reasons, but now I'm adding "play better version of P5" to that list.

Getting P5 for my PS4 when it comes to the West in the 2015 Holiday season.

I don't have a PS4, but Persona 5 and Bloodborne should be enough to push me to buy one... eventually. I hope that, by the time P5 reaches the West, the PS4 will have had a pricecut. €400 is a bit too much for a two-game console (for me).

PS4. Persona 5 was the only reason my PS3 was still hooked up, now I can finally clear some space under my TV.

If I get around to finishing P4G and enjoying it I'll get it on PS4.

The bad news is, I don't think Persona is for you.

I would have happily bought the game on PS3, but since it's coming to PS4 and I have a PS4 I don't see any good reason to not get it on PS4. Unless it somehow turns out to be a terrible port.

@aegon: Nah, the story is pretty cool so far, the combat is good and I'm enjoying the mix of game play between battles and the daily life of the main character being totally separate things. The only thing I dislike about the battle music are the vocals. The melody itself is great, I just dislike going into fights and hearing "it's a war out there everyday.." twenty times over while going through dungeons.

If I have a ps4 by then, then ofcourse it's ps4, but sadly I don't think that'l be the case so ps3 it is for now.

I would get it on PS3 since I have a PS3. But I'm kind of a graphics whore so I might hold off on it until I get a PS4.

Or just say 'fuck it', get it on PS3 and then get it again on PS4, seeing as how I'm already buying Steam versions of some games that I used to have on PS3 and 360.

@aegon: Nah, it's got some great music in there, it's just the vocals. I don't mind the vocals to the over world nearly as much. If I could just turn off the battle music vocals I wouldn't have any issue with it at all.

I really wish they were doing something to bring the ps3 version to vita. P4G was so much fun to play in a portable format.

Gotta use the PS4 for something! Though the lack if Vinny & Jeff commentary will probably end in me getting bored fairly fast. I certainly had a hard time playing through P3 alone; in the dark..

PS4 for sure. Sucks that it seems to be delayed sometime into 2015. That trailer has got me mildly excited and the wait kind of hurts.

PS3 because although I'll probably get a PS4 eventually, I won't have one before P5 comes out.

That being said, I'll probably double dip later, especially if there is a FES or, more likely, Golden style update.

Yeap, makes plenty of sense to me. I would also like to reward Atlus for going to the current gen instead of staying a gen behind again. That is sort of funny though when you think about it. When the last numbered Persona released it was on PS2. So technically they almost skipped the entire last gen hardware :P.

Since it will be on PS4 I have another reason to get one at some point, I guess. So, that's cool.

I'll probably have a PS4 by the time it comes out in the UK so I'll get that version (Unless there's something horribly wrong with it)

PS4 all the way. P5 was basically the only reason I still have my PS3 hooked up so I guess I can pack it away or move it to a secondary TV now.

PS3 most likely. I still love my PS3 and the games are so much cheaper than on PS4 and there is still a lot I have yet to play. I got my PS3 in 2012 so I have just had 2 years of gaming on it.

PS4 but in a crazy way I will probably end up with both. I have all 3 versions of 4 (PS2, PS Classic, P4G) so....yeah probably both.
