    Overview

Phantasy Star II Text Adventure is the name of eight sci-fi fantasy text-based RPGs games developed and digitally published by Sega for the Mega Drive (as part of the Sega Game Toshokan service) exclusively in Japan throughout 1991.

A spin-off of the 1989 RPG Phantasy Star II, Phantasy Star II Text Adventure is a series of eight separate downloadable adventures combining classic text-based adventures with a simplistic RPG system.

Each adventure is based on a particular companion from the game and is a prequel to the game itself, telling each of their backstories on what brought them to Paseo. In no particular release order, these are Amia's Adventure, Anne's Adventure, Eusis's Adventure, Huey's Adventure, Kinds's Adventure, Nei's Adventure, Rudger's Adventure, and Shilka's Adventure.

All eight adventures were later included in the Mega CD compilation series Game no Kanzume, with Shilka's, Amia's, Huey's , and Eusis's adventures in Vol. 1 and Nei's, Rudger's, Kinds's, and Anne's adventures in Vol. 2.
