The demon Phenex is a Marquis of Hell. He coincidentally appears as a Phoenix, fitting considering his name. He apparently speaks with the voice of a child. He will sing alluring and hypnotic songs when first summoned, but these must be resisted. Eventually he submits to the summoner and will happily perform any favors requested of him. He is also an excellent singer and poet. He is another of the demons that told Solomon he hopes to be forgiven and return to Heaven at some point, and was once of the angelic order of the "Thrones".
