    Phil Spencer is Head of Xbox Division at Microsoft. He leads all teams within Xbox, Xbox Live, and creative teams including Xbox Music, Xbox Video and Microsoft Studios.

    Spencer became general manager of Microsoft Game Studios in 2008. He helped with the creation of many of Microsoft's first party games and he succeeds Don Mattrick as leader for the Xbox Division.

    Spencer was promoted to Microsoft's Senior Leadership Team and was given the title of Executive Vice President of Gaming in September of 2017. He now reports directly to the CEO of Microsoft.
