An in-game mode which allows players to pause the action on screen and manipulate the camera to take a screenshot. First seen in Gran Turismo 4.

Some three-dimensional games include a photo mode to enable its players to fine-tune the screenshotsthey take of it. For example, photo mode in Uncharted (Franchise) gives the player control how a moment is rendered in various ways, by letting them rotate the camera, change the depth of field, add color filters, and more.
