Overview
Picross 3D: Round 2 is a logic puzzle game developed by HAL Laboratory and originally published by Nintendo in 2015 for the 3DS. Like its predecessor Picross 3D, the game features hundreds of three-dimensional logic puzzles that form voxel-based sculptures once solved. These sculptures are modeled after a wide variety of subjects, including household objects, animals, and people in various poses. The sequel introduces a new mechanic allowing puzzles to be constructed using curved and angled blocks in addition to the standard cubes.
The game was first released in Japan on October 1, 2015. A USK rating by Nintendo of Europe was found in early February 2016, implying an impending release in that region. A Nintendo Direct presentation on September 1, 2016 announced the game's North American 3DS eShop-exclusive release that same day, with a European release planned for December.
