Why was this forgotten so fast.  By far one of the best online games made.  Really showed how any FPS game truly become a whole other monster.

PSide is my favorite game, Sony sent all the devs to work on other games which is unfortunate because this game would be awesome with a sequel.

It would be awesome, but I don't think it's going to happen.  You'll be hard pressed to convince people that they have to pay for a FPS, given that the market is overrun with them.  I adore Planetside, but I'm not willing to pay.

Although I do love playing when they give out those free months.

If they had to make it free just to get people to play it, do you think they're likely to try it again?

I doubt SOE would be able to justify a sequel, unless they're making more money with this game than I think they are.

I played this game for a while and loved it even though i generally suck at shooters.  I like the massive battlefields and there's LOTS of different ways to play the game.

I wish that it were free-to-play though, seeing as it's been around so long and there haven't been any major updates to it.
