Earlier on, I asked if I should get a PS2 or an XBOX 360. I've settled on just a PS2. I live in Australia, and the only EBGAMES/GAMESPOT that sells a PS2 is over 2 hours away, and It's in store only, so I obviously won't go there. So, I was just asking you guys, where can I buy a PS2? Should I get off EBAY? AMAZON? Not really sure yet.

You could probably buy a used one online for next to nothing at this point. The fat PS2 is the best one to get if you want to play games from outside your region since they may be cheaper.

Slim lasers are known for burning out quickly so know that if you buy used. I just got one and im going to have to replace the laser to run about half of my games which are lightly scratched at best. The fat version is also easier to softmod if you ever want to rig it to load disk images straight off the hard drive (a difficult process but it reduces load times and you can have backups which do not rely on the laser or the disks to be in good shape). The only upside of the slim is that it is portable and comes with a network port built in but that is not exactly a relevant feature today.
