Resistance 2 is going to be bloody amazing if you're a fan of arcadey online shooters. In fact that game is so rewarding and 8 player co-op has so much more depth than you could ever imagine for a shooter.

Honestly it will lose to the review score battles next to Gears and Halo 3 but it shouldn't be overlooked because if the beta proves anything it proves that it's going to be one of the most rewarding shooters ever. The depth to which the modes run is astounding - where you garner experience from playing single player, online co-op and online competitive. It doesn't sound amazing in words but from what I've played this system is far more rewarding than CoD4's - although note the game plays very differently.

It's hard to put your finger on why Insomniac's games are so good sometimes... they just are.

Also they're a long way off but don't forget Heavy Rain and God Of War III."

I mean you obviously already own a 360 so if you're holding out for Resident Evil 5 and Street Fighter and stuff then maybe it's not worth making the switch yet... having said that it all depends what you like.

Dude, if you wait til there is a backlog of 15 games you didn't play by the time you finally get the system, you will not get through all of them or will not enjoy them. That is because some of them will seem old (graphically or gameplay wise), and you will be disappointed. Are you looking to compliment your 360 with a PS3? Then you don't need 15 games. But however if you are looking to replace the 360 with the PS3, then I would actually say wait til your current 360 red rings on you.

If you need anymore topics to think about, just remember, the PS2 is still somewhat supported now. The original Xbox was dropped like a bad date as soon as the 360 came out. Don't think MS won't do the same thing the next cycle.

I bought a PS3 for Little Big Planet alone. Although I still bought Ratchet and Clank & Resistance.

Kind of dissapointed with Resistance.
