    So I just tried it with my japanese account and it works. 
    Why are japanese users allowed to change their PSN ID name in the settings and we aren´t?  
    I don´t see a reason.

    XXSkUlSNYPERX42oXX will overload the servers by changing his gamertag more often than a traffic light changes.

    Half and half. I know we played some of it on PRO but like I pussied out because it was just so tedious and boring. We did play through the whole game on veteran mode prior, at least. To help afford the Hydra shotgun.

    yeah my PSN id is so stupid it was created when i never thought i would be online as much as i am i really want to be able to change if even if it a pay to change model.

    It would be for the best. Though I don't get why PSN or XBL for that matter don't just adopt the Steam or Battle.Net 2.0 model of there is a distinction between your actual account and your display name. Well at least for Steam you can change your name on a whim and the fabric of time doesn't rip open whats the harm in PSN working the same way.

    I dont know, it would be nice. But it needs to be paid for because otehrwise tahts going to really break the syestem for people in some way that I have a hard time explaining. let me just say if it was free, people would be doing it all the time and itll probaly break the experince somehow.
