$200 (CND) for a 6-month old ps3. Unsure of whether it is 160 or 240 gb (like it really makes a difference) but it comes with yakuza 3 and (shudder) bro-ops. as a 360 owner i've been unable to play apparent gems such as uncharted, mgs4, or any fighting game for that matter. so i'm wondering, does this deal seem decent to you duders?

In the US, Best Buy stores are selling 160gb PS3s for $250, new. Not sure what the exchange rate is like nowadays (pretty close to 1:1, right?) but spending the extra $50 is probably be worth not having to sweat getting a potentially gnarled, used PS3.

It really comes down to how much you want to play those exclusives. We're already on the backend of a generation, so unless you have money to blow I would recommend AutomaticOwl's idea and buy a new one or not bother at all. Game releases will start picking up again so it's up to you on how conservative you go about it.
