I plan on downloading a pretty good amount but not tons of movies and stuff. I like the 80 GB because it's cheap, I like the Costco bundle because it has a second controller and a nice extra. I like the 160 because it isn't much more than the Costco bundle that I was originally leaning towards.

    I can't decide. Help!

Isn't there an MGS4 and Killzone 2 80gb bundle out now?  I'd suggest that.

Best Buy has a new 80GB PS3 bundle w/ Killzone 2 and MGS4 that supposedly went on sale last Sunday.

^ that one is what i'd go with unless you need PS2 BC now then it'd be 60gig refurb or an 80gig refurb.

HDMI cable is like 10 bucks online. Extra controller's are 40 bucks new off of NewEgg/Amazon and they all have USB unless you mean a hub or something which you can get  cheap as well.

    Either a used 60 GB or the 80 GB KZ2 + MGS4.

@Subject2Change: HDMI cables can be 3 or 5 bucks if you know where to look.

Not getting that bundle. Not that it isn't a good deal, but I want the free lifetime warranty that Sam's Club and Costco offer. I have had awful luck with my consoles.

My PS1 has broke. My N64 broke. My PS2 broke. My Xbox broke. My 360 has broke three times.

I have no idea what it is about me and consoles, but I have awful luck.

Tough choice, but if you do go with the 160GB you could always buy the HDMI (and maybe the USB Cable), on monoprice.com, for less than $5 (each, plus tax/shipping).

Extra Controller as stated above by NintenDood, but you could prolly wait on it fer a bit, if ya don't need it right away :)

I have 2 $5 HDMI's from MonoPrice, 1 $80 one from BestBuy, and also the one that came with my 360 Elite... and the picture quality is identical on all of them.

Agreed. And why are Sam's Club's prices so expensive. They are supposed to be less then retail. You need to check out Costco.

@Wolverine: They technically are less than retail. And it's their whole lifetime warranty thing they have. Prices are identical at Costco

Ya I know but with shipping its like 10 bucks on Monoprice :p Shipping is usually more than the cable cost. Paid like 9 bucks for a 25' Coaxial and it was mainly in ship cost lol.

I'd suggest you go to your local Best Buy store and pick up the Killzone 2/Metal Gear Solid 4 bundle for the PS3.

If your willing to spend the extra money i'd go with the 160gb bundle although the bundle with killzone 2/mgs4 would be a good idea to look into.

I thought the Costco one had the Blu-Ray remote as well? Or was that an old bundle they used to have?

Anyway, either the Costco one because honestly, having that second controller is crucial and its an easy way to get along with HDMI cables. Though if you would get the one with MGS4 and Killzone 2, then I think that would probably be the best bet overall. Though that one wasn't on your list.

Go with the 80gig. You can always upgrade to a 320gb or more sized hard drive for less than $100 that it would cost to go for the Uncharted bundle.

Meh, you can upgrade the HD for much cheaper on your own with some basic direction following, screw turning.  That being said I got the Uncharted bundle for $350 just after Christmas.  Apply for Playstation credit card and get PS3 at a huge discount.
