Would like to choose between 2 ps3 sku's?
    for example:
1- 80 gb ps3 with 2 ubs ports, no bc , no MS slots for lets say = 300?
    and
    2- a 120 gb (or 200gb) 4 usb ports, bc, ms slots for =400 or 450?

I think its a bad move for sony to only have one sku.

I think the second choice would be great, but it's not going to happen. Sony's obviously pushing for no more backwards compatibility now. All future PS3 owners who can't find a 60/80GB will have to get a PS2 if they want to play PS2 games... Or wait for some to be available on the PSN.

OK if not bc then more multimedia functions, one of their promises about the ps3 is that besides playing games it was going to be a big multimedia machine ;/

Meh, Sony should release a bare bones, no BC, No MS system for like $250 and then a better SKU with BC, MS, large HD etc for like $400.

Not going to happen, and it can't really happen at this point.

Some time in the future they will need to have a ONE console SKU, just the ultimate SKU. 100+ GB, 4 USB ports, memory card slots, B/C (software + hardware), DS3 controller, and perhaps an official bluetooth headset.

Because of money, bro. You think they just price it high on purpose? LOL. They are still losing money on each console. They have to lower the costs for them to add more stuff in it it. Which is happening now, its just a matter of time. Chips get cheaper to make, you find the right factories/ways of manufacturing, and you can do it.

BC is dead. That second option will never happen. You want to play PS2 games...buy a PS2 or download through PSN.
