I was playing Infamous the other day and everything was going great I was more than half way on the story and enjoying the game so far then suddenly while my character was in a middle of a jump my PS3 froze on me...now theres nothing blocking it from getting good venting and it was not hot, but for some reason it reminded me of the ps1 days when it would happen exatly like so. I laughed it out thinking about past just wondering if anybody else had their PS3 freeze like this?
every system does that, atleast the ones that i have. i just think that it is a system bug. i think just about every system i have had froze on me at least once.
At least the ps3 doesn't need to be flipped over to read the discs(PS1), or stop reading them and require it to be taken apart and the laser guide wheel to be adjusted voiding your warranty until it craps out totally and you just go buy a new 1(ps2).
BTW When it freezes hold the power button on the front for it power down, never plug pull or flip it off with the back switch(it can kill it, my brother in law boxed his that way.)
