    It's called the YLOD, that happened to me. I heard 10% of all ps3 broke like that from an article.

    What the hell are you supposed to have it on then? Theres nothing wrong with wood..
     
    also, soon I will have the oldest living ps3 on the planet :) . My launch 60gb is still going strong, I dont even know where I would send it if mine broke tho...

    I'm already paying Sony to fix/replace my console so no thanks.
