    @thewanger: wait, what?   blu-ray won the format war. if you go to best buy or wal-mart you would notice there are no HD-DVDs there.

    Already pre-ordered one and I'm going to pick up MGS4 once I go and get it.  Its a bummer that it only has composite cables.  There goes another $20-$50 from my wallet to get HDMI cables.

    Hey, I was just at Best Buy the other night picking up  a new camera, and right on the screen on one of the check out computers was the advertisement for preordering the PS3 slim ($299.00 CAN). I thought that was pretty cool, because usually in Canada I feel ripped off buying games.

    yeah, i've heard sony is going to make a firmware to make ALL ps3 to have backward capability. i kind of hope it comes true because there are some games that i want to play that i never got to finish. 
     
    i knew this was going to happen. i just got a ps3 around the end of june. i used a coupon that i found online that was like 30% off electronics at dell.com. i bought a 80 gig hard drive for $360. it's not to bad of the price going down.

    Time to see the excuses why you shouldn't buy a PS3 get modified. It was for the longest time "Just too expensive." Any guess what it'll be know? How about this; "360 is more reliable, dude. Ya' know that YLOD thing!"
