I just got my PS3 Super Slim white. Looks great, its white and greyish. Here are some pictures,

@Sackmanjones: Yeah, I like my white Vita and prefer it over the black one. I just wish this new PS3 wasn't so ugly. Whites a nice color for the PS3.

I've been thinking about picking one up to replace my original 60GB version, the thing is like a tank..

I can dig it. Looks noticeably better than the last model they came out with. Where all is it getting released?

@crazyleaves: It's coming out on the 27th. The warehouse of the store is near my city. They shipped it today, and I guess they were expecting to arrive on monday, but CanadaPost delivered on the same day.

Only problem with the white DS3 is that the light (for which player # you are) shines through the white. It's not that big of a deal, but it can get annoying.

edit: nvm, just found out about the sliding door. I like having the slot more though, but I guess that's more expensive.

Ain't that a thing of beauty. I got mine in the mail as I write this. My old PS3 slim got the YLOD and this will be my second unit. The free PS Plus for a year will save me some bucks since I already was a subscriber.

Does the tray feel flimsy? also, How much sound does it do compared to the previous slim model?

I think it looks gross, the PS3 design has gone backwards twice now.

The original is huge but it looks damn nice at least.

Damn, I have always wanted a white one. My only problem is, my big ass 40gb PS3 is still kicking, and not showing any signs of age.

I think the slim may have been the peak of console design this cycle- this... doesn't look good. At least, I don't think so.

you better wax that thing cause it's going to get scummy with those ridges.

I feel the cheap sliding door mechanism tends to spoil it somewhat, but the black fan vent and ports contrasting against the shiny white does give it a certain "1960s future" vibe (or even an 80s "stormtrooper" aesthetic).

Anyway, hope you enjoy it.

@Sooty: I agree, to me it kind of looks like one of those little portable heaters you'd put in the corner of a room especially with all those ridges.

That being said I'm sure it plays PS3 games fine so great, at least it being small means you can tuck it away somewhere without too much of a problem

Got mine and think it looks great. Thought the door feels cheap. Now I'm down to my very last game to download and it's Super Street Fighter IV AE. Ridiculous how big that game is.

Me wanty. Sony needs a price drop like right now. I need to play some PS3 games before the gen ends.

Better put on a couple of rubber gloves!

Does a glossy white console show dust as badly as a black console?

That console looks so nice in white. It's too bad my friend is having nothing but trouble with the super slim.

Reminds me of the original PS1. I'm not sure what you mean by "sliding door" however.
