Well, you could wait for Soul Caliber IV. Uncharted is amazing and Grand Theft Auto 4 is pretty good too. Heavenly Sword is very good. Devil May Cry 4 is very good too.

Condemned 2: Bloodshot. Awesome game if you like horror FPS's.

From what I've played, Heavenly Sword and Folklore are both great.  I've only played the demos of them though.

Get Super Stardust HD. Great game, plus trophies if you're into that. (You might find yourself getting into them if you're not already.)

Like someone said, if you want a good fighting game then Soul Calibur 4 is out very,very soon, Folklore's a really good choice also that people have mentioned here, it's really underappreciated as well!

And you can't go wrong with cheap, but great PSN games like PAIN or Puzzle Street Fighter.

Play, Siren: Blood Curse.  Very fun, if you like getting scared and then beating the crap out of whatever just scared you.  doing a power attack from behind is awesome depending on the environment.

If you liked Uncharted and Assassins Creed, you might enjoy Heavenly Sword - it's fairly short, but it's still a great game. 

If you haven't played the PC versions of Half-Life or Portal yet - then I would highly recommend The Orange Box!  It's an incredible steal with hours of gameplay.  Portal alone is worth the price of the game.

If you want to waste 300 hours of your life exploring Cyroddil, then buy Oblivion... it's very addictive if you like western style RPG's.

I'm currently playing Battlefield Bad Company and the campaign is a pretty standard FPS, but it's fun.  The online currently only has one mode though and the servers seem problematic (laggy).  HAZE was a short game... again, a pretty standard shooter game, but the online is fun with lots of different modes.  Battlefield is funnier though!  Another really good shooter is UT3 if you like incredibly fast shooter games.  It's very smooth!  The campaign mode really isn't much.. mostly just practice for online play.  The online community is small, but you can still find a game and there is also bot play.

All in all, if you want to get your money's worth - I would recommend either Orange Box or Oblivion.  Both will keep you gaming until those new games start coming out! :)

You cannot go wrong with Bad Company.

Racing: Grid, GT5P

Hack and Slash: Devil May Cry 4: DMC3 was better but still fun game,  Heavenly Sword: Great game but short so maybe rental

RPG like: Folklore : Very underrated game...the only thing i disliked was the amount of reading involved they should have voiced everything, BUT great game battle system is unique and fun.

Shooter: Bad Company: if u liked COD4 u'll like this title, i love the destructible enviroments, If u like Horror like the others have recommended go for siren or Bloodshot

oh and i notice you dont have GTA4....thats another good option to buy....

Personally i would go for Bad Company, GTA4 and Folklore
