Of all the games that come out this fall, the PS3 multiplats that don't have trophies will show that those developers are lazy, right? I guarantee that some will have them.
They should want equality between versions so if they take the time to put achievements, they should do the same for trophies.

I think just dropping that requirement on people now in the midst of development could be problematic.  I mean, I have no idea myself what they would have to go back and change to program in something they started development unsure of.  I mean, on that bonus disc that came with MGS4 LE, they made Kojima's request that a few lines from Sunny be redone sound like the end of the world.  Thats likely a smaller deal than trophies, too.

I don't know either way, like I said, Kojima's team made changing two lines for Sunny sound like the end of the world, which I would think was simple as well.  So I'd give these developers who do ship games the next few months the benefit of the doubt.

Any game starting  September 1, should have Trophies. No excuses.

Knowing our luck, games will be delayed for trophies.

When the trophies come out, alot of games will have replay value.

Sony should make it a requirement that games ship with the trophie system.

I think it pretty much is required nowadays. I just want to unlock one trophy so that I can see what it looks like on screen.

The trophy system has barely been implemented, and games coming out this fall already have enough ahead of them than to put in trophies at the last minute because Sony finally decided to put them in, wait until 2009 when it's supposedly rumored to be mandatory like achievements, then if it doesn't happen by then you can complain.
