just toying around the site with my PS3, uhg, it sucks.
But hey, who uses the browser, right?

The PlayStation 3 (often abbreviated PS3) is the third home video game console created and released by Sony Computer Entertainment Inc.
Tried GiantBomb on the PS3 browser? Don't~
The PS3 and PSP browser isn't that great, but it does come in handy when someone else in my house is on the computer and I want to get on also.
I use it for Youtube when some else is on the computer. I'd use the Ps3 browser more if it didn't have a early version of flash.
"Personally I think the PS3 browser is just a extra feature, but nothing you want to uses daily...
"
I know people who use it daily, LMAO!

Lol its theleast thing that works. I usually use it to check forums, google stuff, etc. Pretty easy and quick, but its not a FF or anything.

Yeah, it stinks on the PS3. And I'd use the browser more often if it offered better support for various web pages. As it is now, it's only an extra.
"Really? I thought the site worked pretty OK on the browser. :SSame. I don't see much of a problem with GiantBomb on my PS3 apart from the telling me that I'm using IE 6 and it would be best to update. The browser is fine. Anyway, I just use the PS3 browser to watch some YouTube videos if I'm feeling lazy going on the computer, and I can watch them nicely. Purpose served for me :)

"Basically Flash is the problem. Not just Flash--there's some kind of issue with CSS because things get boxed up, and once you scroll, disappear entirely until you scroll back to the top of the screen. *boycotts GiantBomb until there's PS3 support*

I only use the PS3 browser to go download new themes. That satisfies my need greatly, especially since I don't have to pay for themes like on the 360.
I will sometimes also use the built in search feature to look up something if I am playing away from my PC and need help in a certain game. Too bad I have to leave the game to do that. I really wish they would unlock the browser for in-game XMB just for that reason.
I'm one of the unlucky few who uses their PS3 browser every day. Using Giant bomb I can't log in, post on the forums, comment on videos or see other's comments, read articles, etc, etc.
Obviously this isn't the sites fault. Sony just can't be arsed to update their crappy browser.
I sometimes use it to watch the ER on my TV, the problem is though, that the playback only works half the time, and I have no clue as to why.
PS3's web browser is horseshit. Too bad you cant install Firefox on it. It's not like I really care because the games are great.
I use the PS3 browser a lot. It works for some other gaming sites and Youtube. I do agree that it could be improved in a variety of areas though.
I use the browser quit often when I wanna check stuff if Im too lazy to turn my computer on, or if my Computer is having problems that day. Its not great, but its not that bad either.
" Really? I thought the site worked pretty OK on the browser. :S "yup, i watch shows on there too
" Yeah, it's decent for quickly checking FAQs or something for a game - but you have to quite the current game you're playing which is lame. Hope Sony allows it for in-game use sometime in the future... "While this will probably not happen (the PS3 sucks at multitasking due to low RAM), it would be nice to have. I have often had to boot up my computer in order to check something about the game I was playing, only to shut it down again when I was finished. A waste of energy.
