What??  That's ridiculous. Some guy who lives and breathes SOCOM, is in a clan, spends his days on their clan forum, and nights and weekends playing the game is hardcore.  So is the girl who plays every single 360 game that comes out on easy mode, or that guy who's addicted to WoW.  I would say that time spent and addiction can be "hardcore" ...  more so than having all three consoles if they sit and gather dust.

plus ps3 exclusives are my favorite games.

I dont have the other 2 consoles mainly because my cousin has a 360 so when a big exclusive comes out i get to play it.  I don't have a wii because im tired of nintendo taking a royal dump on its customers.  Case in point this years e3 press event.  Frisbee......Puppies.....?  Really?  WiiMusic*facepalm*

I have PS3 because i knew it would win the console war this generation. Same way i knew PS2 would win and the PS. 

I've only got a PS3 because I also PC game, and if there's an exclusive on the 360, nine times out of 10, it comes out on PC sometime later that year. If you're a PC gamer, there's almost no reason to own a 360. You get it all, and more. Likewise, I've been a loyal Sony fan my whole life, and I absolutely love God of War, Metal Gear Solid, Killzone, Gran Turismo, and all the other amazing Sony exclusives.

Honestly at this point in terms of (over the last year to currently) unless you absolutely LOVE halo,there isn't a single title that is on only 360 over PS3 other than Ninja Gaiden. Bioshock is also on PC,and is coming to PS3 this year,and Mass Effect is also on PC.  There are plenty of reasons to want  a 360 also(not much offered on wii atm) as the year moves on,but the big games coming out this year other than  a few exclusives,are all multiplatform titles.

i own only a PS3 because consoles are really pricey is Australia and only could choose one so i chose the PS3.

I've got almost no interest in the Wii and most "exclusives" on the 360 I can end up getting for my PC anyways, so the PS3 is the machine for me.

There's too many games this generation to own all 3 consoles. I can't get through all of the PS3 titles that I want. If I had a 360 and Wii to worry about it would just be too much. Plus, I don't want to have all of those extra controllers and peripherals associated with more than one console. I chose PS3 because I really loved my PS2. Never owned an original Xbox, and I thought the Gamecube was a disappointment. I'm totally satisfied with just having a PS3 because of the large library of games, the Blu-Ray capability, and the overall interface design. It has become the main piece of equipment in my home theater setup.

I chose the ps3 because it really interested me from the start with ps1. I was about to get the 360 but decided not to because I heard the ps3 was going to come out so I waited. Not to mention MGS4 and its other exclusives that were to come out. I don't care if it's losing when it comes to system comparisons, I bought it to have fun which many people don't do anymore; instead people just name call each other and rant over silly things like graphics is better on this system etc.

i wanted a 360 and my little sister wanted a Wii. With the SIXAXIS controls ps3 was the compramise. lol. dont regret it at all though.

I got the PS3 a couple weeks after it came out because I loved the PS2 and PS1 so much. It was the first time I bought a console so close to the release date, and it will be the only time. I love the PS3 and all, but at the time I was very disappointed in it. I suppose I'm kind of lucky though, since I got the 60GB (no offense to those who have the other models) but I find myself playing PS2 games a lot, and the upscaler is a nice feature. I lost interest in Nintendo after the Gamecube. I didn't like a lot of the games for the system, and I hated the controllers. I never really cared for Mario or Zelda even on the NES/SNES days. I liked Metroid, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy, Castlevania, Street Fighter, and Contra so there was no big incentive for me to go with the Wii. As for the 360, we have a PC that can play most of the games that are on the system, as well as the PS3, since they share a lot of multiplats. I also don't have a lot of time to play games as I used to with work and school, so I don't plan on getting another system for awhile. If I do, it will be the 360.

Well I bought a PS1, PS2, PSP, so I thought I would continue the trend and get a PS3.

PS3 is more advanced..

I have only a PS3 at the moment cause my 360 died. Soon to be replaced. I don't think I'll ever have a Wii.

Because its the best thing you can plug on an HDTV, period.

Because Valve, Ubisoft, and Rare all love the 360 and most mulitplatform games run well on 360 due to it being much like a PC. I just bought my PS3 to play the AWESOME exclusives

I have a Ps3 because I thought FFXIII was exclusive and the Ps3 had quite a few games I wanted like Ratchet and Clank. I want a 360 and a Wii I just don't have the money.

i actually had a 360 and ps3 for awhile but the only reason i got 360 was for halo3 and once i was done with that i saw no need to have the system anymore....ps3 in my opinion is the best your money can buy it's got the cheapest/best blu-ray player on the market and look at sony's track record so far they might not be dominating the market now but give them time and they'll be back on top

I ONLY have a PS3 bcuz of it seems like it's the best choice of all three. better games. save money by only have one console.... free online play.

PS3 has alot of great games, unless u really want all these awesome games. Then its enough for casuels
