Fuck that is COOL. I would like to see a USB dongle sticking out of the front that looks like a memory card but I guess it would be kinda useless.

That's nice but my black PS4 disappears in my black interior TV unit I hate it when they stand out to much.

I was never a big fan of the colour of the original playstation. Looks similar enough though. Good on them for making it. The PSX was a pretty damn good console.

I don't care about special editions, but this one is amazing and the best.

Huh, did not realise there were the four symbols engraved onto the touchpad. That's a really neat touch and now I want that controller. The console itself however....

I think its cool that they did this but at the same time that old PlayStation grey was so ugly. Do I have nostalgia for something I didnt like just because its been gone so long?

A neat bonus would be if you had to flip this PS4 upside down for it to play cut scenes without skipping like all the original PlayStations did.

I got an order confirmation after about 20 minutes of clicking back and submit. I wouldn't be shocked if my order ends up getting canceled though due to the system allowing too many orders.

Yeah, I kind of agree. The thing I did love about the PS1 on a system level, was the boot up sound effect. That thing was so damn charming and memorable. And they've released that as a free theme.

Yeah, decidedly possible - especially since they're already set up to not charge your card until the thing ships (or doesn't, probably.)

Did they actually mention these going on sale on the stream? I've had my laptop sitting on the couch waiting since this thing started. I can't believe I missed this because I decided to start cleaning. Ugh.

I haven't seen this theme but I hope it has all the really shitty tie dye bitmaps that the old interface had.

@71ranchero: I think it's just a basic gray theme with maybe the old logo color and some blue accents. The important bit is the noise that happens when you boot up the system. I don't actually own a PS4 though, so this is only from seeing videos.
