I have a matte-finish og PS4 that gets super loud when playing big games like Monster Hunter and AC: Origins, even after cleaning the fans and ensuring it has proper ventilation. Is the PS4 Slim really that much quieter?

How about the hotness? Does it get superhot as well?

I don't know but my PS4 Pro is super loud (compared to original Xbox One and S).

@yesac2004: its probably not any better, i dont exactly know how the slim works, but a friend of mine, says that they are pretty much the same

It's quieter. I've never really thought about the heat.

I have the slim and I never hear it. It does get pretty hot though.

My release ps4 was really loud too even after cleaning. Bought a slim last fall and in comparison its quiet as a mouse.
