I like doing the running man and hitting on chicks like they’re almost extinct as much as the next nerd, but here’s how to make Home EVEN BETTER than it’s already supposed to be.

    1.       Steal ideas from Animal Crossing. Imagine turning on Home on Christmas day, and getting a free Santa outfit because of it. Couldn’t make it for Christmas? Then you’ll have to pay for it. Might want to check back next week too, there’s a dancing event. If you win you get a collectible item.

    2.       Customisation. I don’t want to be looking like THE MAN! How can I express myself if I can’t write a slogan on a t shirt or rip my jeans? Parents just don’t understand.

    3.       Steal ideas from facebook. Here’s  a photo of my dog. Here’s a brief comment about what I’m doing. Here’s a video of me at a Katie Perry gig. I was THIS close to Her!!! All I did was look at Her through my phone camera!

    4.       Home radio & TV. Constant streaming radio. Music, game reviews and news podcasts, announcements, and lot’s of lovely adverts. And how about having constant films showing in the cinema? I don’t need to see recent movies, give me anything Sony, you’re a multinational corporation that owns the rights to movies and music, USE YOUR POWER. Heck, even some public domain b-movies, say 3 different ones every month... on rotation....with ad breaks...and trailers....ANYTHING WILL DO

    5.       Home: The game. It’s all nice being social, but I’m a gamer. I even compete with myself when eating cereal. Give me some sort of game mechanic in Home. Even one that could promote social interaction. Murder mysteries involving real players? An arena fighting game with the avatars? Stand up comedy nights? Hottest tranny avatar competition?

Or...... you could just keep pretending Home is amazing, and will eventually pick up momentum, then kill it off when it doesn’t... Which is what you will do.... We all know it.

Sony better do something to make the finished product  more interesting. I've erased it from my PS3 since playing around with it twice, and feeling generally unimpressed by it -- and my name is blue.

1, 4, and 5 seem pretty solid. But 2 and 3? What if I want my t-shirt slogan to be "F**k N*****s" or "(playername) sucks donkey balls"? What if I upload hardcore porn pictures, or pictures or illegal activities, or (worst of all!) copyrighted material?

I seriously doubt Sony wants to mess with the amount of moderation they'd have to do with those changes.
