Also known as the Prehistory, this is the location where Ayla resides in Chrono Trigger. This location is also where Lavos originates.

Black Omen

The Black Omen is a floating fortress that was once Zeal's royal palace in Chrono Trigger. Following the kingdom's collapse, Queen Zeal retreated within to wait until Lavos's awakening in 1999 A.D.

1000 A.D.

The primary location in Chrono Trigger. This is where Crono lives, and many of the events take place.

1999 A.D.

The year that Lavos awakens in Chrono Trigger, triggering the destruction of the world. Traveling directly to this time period immediately triggers the final boss battle.

2300 A.D.

A post-apocalyptic era of Chrono Trigger that follows Lavos's awakening in 1999. The few survivors remain huddled in the ruins of a once thriving civilization in order to escape the now hazardous environment.

Proto Dome

One of the many Domes located in the 2300 AD time period of Chrono Trigger.

The subterranean laboratory located under Raccoon City.

The famous Japanese castle rooftop that serves as Ryu's stage in the original Street Fighter II.

An immense ancient temple in Cambodia. Built in the 12th century, it is the largest place of worship ever constructed. It appears in a few video games.

An archipelago country of 330 islands located in the Pacific Ocean.

Monument Valley

A geologic formation of a series of red sandstone cliffs along the Arizona-Utah border in the United States. A famous tourist view often depicted in popular culture.

Persian Gulf

A region in the Middle East, located between the Arabian peninsula and the Iranian peninsula.

Limbo

Limbo is supposedly the space between Earth, Heaven and Hell, usually the souls of children or people that have done as many good deeds as bad ones go to Limbo. It is decided whether their soul goes to Heaven, Hell or back to their own body.

Bereshith Road

A massive tower that serves as the final level of the Ark Arena.

Tundra

A geographical biome in which flora has trouble growing due to low temperatures. It is cold and has windy conditions and generally very low precipitation.

The Nether

This hellish dimension exists parallel to the "real world" in Minecraft. Reached with a difficult-to-construct Nether Portal, it is home to the terrifying Ghasts, fire-slinging Blazes, and armies of surprisingly mellow Zombie Pigmen. It is the only place where Glowstone can be harvested, and consists mainly of the mineral "Netherrack."
