Hi! I have $20 in my PSN wallet and would like to get a $20 game. Which release from this year would you recommend? I have narrowed it down to Pyre and Steamworld Dig 2, but please tell any others you think of. Thanks!

Out of those two, Steamworld Dig 2.

Pyre doesn't seem like anything I would like, at all.

Steamworld Dig 2 on the other hand is really great.

Witcher III was 19.99 a few days ago. Im not sure if that sale is still going though. Of the two you listed Steamworld is my pick.

I went SteamWorld Dig on the Switch, so I say Pyre.

Steam world dig 2 if you don't like graphic novels.

I really liked Pyre, but I can see how it isn't for everyone (it also had some serious framerate issues for me in the late game). Don't know if these issues have been addressed since launch. Steamworld Dig 1 didn't really click with me. Cuphead is another good one.

@bmehlers FORGET EVERYTHING I JUST SAID! The Witcher 3 Complete Edition is on sale for $20 (for PS Plus members), and is an amazing game if you've never tried it. There is also a Day of The Dead sale on PSN going on as I type this.

Disgaea 5 is 19.99$ right now! That's a lot of value for how much stuff is in that game, if you like tactic style games.

O snap....I know this thread was to help out bmehlers, but now I think I am going to have to go grab The Witcher. I have been wanting to play that and just never had.

Witcher 3 hands down. It has hooked me like no other game in recent memory. An absolute steal at $20!

Save it for Spelunky 2, god dammit.

Out of those two, and because you said from this year, Steamworld Dig 2 for sure.

Good, fun game and currently #2 on my GotY list.

You know, I hear that Hyper Light Drifter was the 8th best game to come out 2016.

I really enjoyed Pyre (although I still need to finish it...)

To throw out a random one, I love Nex Machina: Death Machine. You have to be really into arcade style games (chasing high scores, improving your runs, replaying the levels and increasing the difficult, etc.) but it is just so much fun to play.

If the Witcher 3 is still on sale that would be my vote hands down.

Stardew Valley is also $20 and quite good.

Witcher 3 and Stardew Valley is a no brainer. For me the classic arcade section has some cool stuff. Dig Dug, Ms. Pac-Man. I like those old challenging games. Hours of fun trying to get a high score and see if you can do even better in the arcade after.
