    So does this let you install PS2 disc games to your ps3?

    I'm not quite sure I understand its description in the PSN store

    Anyone else know?

    It emulates the PS2 hard drive so you can play Final Fantasy XI on the PS3. Nothing fancy.

    Kind of useless now that there's no ps3 with ps2 backwards compatibility on shelves anymore.

    I never played ff XI so why is it different to most other ps2 games that already work on my ps3. Unless these downloads have been happening all the time but in updates to the system to allow more ps2 games to work.

    @Euge:FFXI required use of the PS2's HDD. The file in question tells the system everything is honky-dory.
