So only BioShock 2 added to the instant game collection so far. Hopefully there'll be more to come in the coming weeks.

I have a feeling there will be more. A while back they had a poll on the playstation blog and the results seemed to indicate that readers wanted weekly posts about what was new for plus instead of monthly posts. Also, I thought RE5 expires tomorrow.

It already is a weekly post. They post every Monday about what is new for the week. What people wanted was a post at the start of the month telling what will be available that month, AND a weekly reminder. The poll is at the bottom of this blog post.

So when things expire you can never play them again. If I signed up in 2 days I couldn't then play RE5, not that I would but is that correct?

@Nightriff: I don't think I get what you're saying. Once you get a free game, it's yours as long as you are subscribed. What's expiring is its status as "free" from the PSN Store.

@FluxWaveZ: So if I signed up today I could get "x" game, if it expires tomorrow and I sign up the next day i will not be able to get "x" game. Now I understand how PS+ works...I think. Thanks Fluxwavez

Aww evil automatic resub is screwing me, I actually own Bioshock 2 (though who knows if I'll ever take it out of the shrinkwrap). RE5 is at least pretty fun to play through with default weapons to unlock the DLC and Mercenaries Reunion.

Yeah, I think that's the only reason I'll bother downloading BioShock 2. I've heard some good things about that DLC.

I'd really love it if they gave us calender of what is coming out each week. I'm kind of an impatient person so I get anxious waiting until Monday to see what's coming out that week.

I already played through Bioshock 2 on PC and didn't really care for it so PS+ is kind of a bust for me this week. Knowing that we're getting another full game (I assume that's the case since they say we'll have plenty to match EU this month) gives me hope.

It kinda sucks that I re-bought SSF4AE for the PS3 2 weeks ago... Oh well at least I don't have to put the disc in anymore lol.

Yeah, this is one the first "Aw, I just bought that like a month ago" moments I've had with Plus, most of the time the stuff I already own is pretty minor. Not too stoked about Rochard, but its something.

I downloaded Bioshock 2, but I haven't even played the first one yet. I've heard they're only loosely connected so I'm curious if this could be like a Terminator 2 - Terminator 1 situation, where you might feel different about them depending what order you saw them but you still get the same kick out of it.

Super Street Fighter 4 is 18 gigs; kind of enormous especially considering King of Fighters is like 2.5, and really in general the only games I can think of that large are MGS4 and MMOs.

Infamous 2 is 15 gigs, believe it or not. I guess PS3 has the advantage of no compression.

@IrrelevantJohn: Yeah 15 gigs is around the high end for standard games; believe Witcher 2 is around that. But 15 is not 18 and Infamous 2 is a large open world game; Street Fighter is a fighting game with limited assets, how many graphics could they possibly be stacking on a 2.5D screen at once, it's not UMVC3 with all of that weirdness so I'm just curious what makes it so enormous.

@Bourbon_Warrior: You have to download the games to the Vita or a PS3, but you can back them up to a PC from the Vita using the Content Manager application.

@Fredchuckdave: The AE upgrade was 1.5 gigs and had 4 characters.  There're another 35 (I think) characters in the base game. If you include all of the stages, music, movies, etc I can see how it adds up based on that.

Lower quality textures, I'd assume. I bet if you put Filda Battleface next to Cammy, one will look a little higher res.

Awesome, was going to grab uncharted with the PSP Vita but saw you can get it on Plus so it's really a no-brainer to get it. Does the PSP Vita have any inbuilt storage? How many GB's is Uncharted?

@Bourbon_Warrior: Keep in mind too that you don't have to keep your free games on your Vita or PS3 if space is a concern. You can just click "purchase," cancel the download, then download them whenever you want (as long as your PS+ membership is still active, of course).

@Bourbon_Warrior: No, the only internal storage on the Vita is for the OS, so you'll need a memory card. Most bundles include a 4 GB one however. And Uncharted: Golden Abyss requires 3.3 GB says the PSN store.

Well it needs 18GB for the file itself and then it needs to install that 18GB game so, 18 +18 = 36GB required. After the installation it will free 18GB of the 36GB being used during that process.

    Start deleting shit.

Glad I'm not the only one who has never heard of it. I feel like for me to not know about a game it needs to be big enough to not be indie and small enough to not have a PR/marketing plan.
