I know this depends on personal taste, of course, but I'm planning on buying a PSP pretty soon (despite the very high prices in Brazil) and was wondering what would be the TOP20 games on this system. I like to experiment pretty much any genre so no restrictions there...bring me your personal all-time favourites !

My top games for the system would be Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops and Patapon. WipEout Pure and Daxter are good too.

I'm a fan of the SOCOM (particularly the first two) and Syphon Filter series on my psp. I've also enjoyed God of Way, Disgaea, Ridge Racer, Wipeout Pure, and Ratchet and Clank.

There's Patapon, Ratchet + Clank: Size Matters, God of War: Chains of Olympus, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, LocoRoco, Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, both Burnouts, Daxter, and maybe Jeanne d'Arc.  That's my top ten (not in order).  You should definetely check out Patapon and God of War.

GTA Vice and Liberty City  Stories are pretty impressive. God of War: Chains of Olympus is currently the highest rated PSP game on MetaCritic, and perhaps rightly so.

PataPon and LocoRoco are both very engaging and graphically very cute.

Having missed the console versions, I'm currently playing through The Warriors and From Russia With Love.

Am yet to check out MGS Portable Ops, the Syphon Filter series and Manhunt 2, but they're on my to play list...

Crisis Core, MGS Portable Ops, FF Tactics, God of War, Ratchet and Clank, Tekken.

I would say Patapon, Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, Puzzle Quest and the two GTA Stories games are great too. Crush is also a pretty awesome (and overlooked) game.

I just got a psp myself, and God of War: Chains of Olympus is really good.  You should be warned, though, that the game is about five hours long, and that's if you take your time and try to find all of the gorgon eyes and phoenix feathers; any subsequent play-through would take about two hours.

To be fair though the Grid based system is pretty different to usual, it has the element of randomness and luck because of the card system (which is also amazingly addictive as you really do want to collect them all XD)
