    PlayStation Portable

    Platform »

PlayStation Portable (PSP) is Sony's first entry into the handheld gaming market. The PSP also sports multimedia features including music and video playback, a photo viewer, and an online store. Several model revisions have been released: the PSP-2000, 3000, PSPgo and the PSP-E1000.

I'm confused with all the version can someone help me out?

You CANNOT play UMDs on a PSP Go. It is a download only platform.

@Xolare: No, I get that but lets look at this way if I could download apples and eat them with one and then download apples and oranges for the other there has got to be another benefit to the first or maybe it was just a price difference?

@Taklulas: They would stop support on it? I would think if they came out with a new PSP you could still download content from the PS Store.

I would hope that all the games you buy on PSN if sony was ever to go out of business they would give the games we bought perm to us cause with the network down right now it's a real eye opener.

He meant they are ceasing production. And that's actually only in Japan.
