I'm wondering if there is a difference between a standard MS PRO Duo and a PRO-HG Duo HX when used for games in the PSP? A PRO-HG supposedly has three times the transfer speed of the standard PRO Duo.

I have no idea. Does the PSP's old-ass memory card slot even support that?

Are you going to be playing a lot of games off of the memory stick?

Yes (sorry for the 2-month delay).

Since all future PSP games will be available both on PSN and UMD, I figured I might as well buy a 16GB Memory Stick. I've googled the info I'm searching for but to no avail. Has anybody here compared both MS? I really want to know if there is a difference in read/write speed.

If there is I doubt there will be anything noticeable with normal playing. All psn download games have more or less fast access speeds etc. especially when compared to the UMD versions.
