Is anyone out here who still owns a WORKING Play Station (first release/PSX)?

Sony's first video game console established the PlayStation brand. It dominated the 32/64-bit era and was the best-selling home console up until the PlayStation 2.
PSX
" I've got one sitting under my bed, I'm pretty sure it's making sweet sweet love to my Sega Megadrive while it's down there. "Make sure it's using protection. Those Geneses are dirty.
(That's right, Genesis, not Mega Drive.)
Nope. Sold it long ago to fund my purchase of whatever the next thing was at the time. I hate being poor and needing to sell my old stuff to buy the new stuff. At least I'm not the one buying the old stuff while the new stuff is coming out I guess.
Sorry, got some of you guys confused there. A PS1 (grey one) is what I mean. It's now damn hard to find PS1 cds in the market too. I thought the first released Playstation and PSX is just one, but thanks to Phantomnaut and ahathisisourchance for showing me the PSX. I still have my PS1 since 2001. Still working, I took extra care of the cds I have. I just asked if some people still has the first released one. Others think PS1 is already old stuff but I still love it because of a lot of good games.
I still have a few games...namely Spyro, Crash, FFVII, FFIX, and FFT. I don't have the system, though. That's what backwards compatability is for! (PS2)
Yeah, I do. I'm not sure if it works that well anymore because my brother didn't keep very good care of it. The discs are also scratched to hell. :/
My parents are gamers as well. When PS1's still the big thing in the market, they get mad if we don't put the discs back to it's proper cases.
I still have my PSX and it works.
I occasionally break it out to play PS1 games with my gameshark, since I can't do that when I'm on the ps3.

It's not a PSX nor is it a PS1. It is a Playstation. Or the revision the PSone. Regardless, yes I still have Playstation, along with my Megadrive and my Playstation 2 under my bed :D
Your right but..... PS-X (PlayStation Experimental) was an internal code name for the PlayStation during development. This lead to the term (abbreviation) PSX being used widely by the media in the Uk even after the consoles release hence the public use.
I myself only started referring to the Playstation as the PS1 after the Playstation 2's release. Which was several years before the PSX (DVR) was released.
