What was your favorite Playstation 1 game?

I know this seems cliche, but my top PS1 game is FFVII. The story, the characters, the CGI, all just made an overwhelming RPG experience for me.

Now how about you?

I'd say the same, but moreso for FFVIII. That game is Godly.

My favorite PS1 game is probably Omega Boost. In my view it's an extremely underrated game which did some amazing things considering the hardware.  Having a boss that mimics the liquid metal transformation of T1000 from Terminator 2 on the PS1 hardware still amazes me today.  Sadly it seems Polyphony Digital is too wrapped up in the GT series to continue with Omega Boost.

Metal Gear Solid

Easy peasy - One of the greatest 2-D 32-bit games ever - Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.

MGS, FFVII, FFIX, and Legend of Dragoon. Chose these because even now, I still replay them.

I'm split between Final Fantasy IX and Tekken 3 both really good games xP

ReTarDedFisHy's personal favorite PS1 game would have to be FFVII. The perfect combination of narrative, story, gameplay and cinematics, not to mention some of ReTarDedFisHy's favorite plotlines and characters. Metal Gear Solid is very close behind, along with Legend of Dragoon.

Twisted Metal 2, still the best one.

Probably MGS1.  I do wish I could get my hands on Intelligent Qube for $20 or less.  I only have the demo.

I'd definitely have to go with either Wild Arms or Metal Gear... I loved both to death.  But I was probably more enamored with Wild Arms.

Intelligence Cube. I can't tell you how many hours of that I played.  

other than Final Fantasy VII it has to be Vigilante 8.

My favourite PS1 game would be a three way tie between Klonoa: Door to Phamtomile, Ape Escape and Metal Gear Solid.
Can't choose! So many nostalgic ties to each one.

Tekken 3.

Well since the only PS1 game I have ever played is Metal Gear Solid, I'm going to have to go with that.

Tekken 3 was definitely my favourite PS1 game.

Easily Metal Gear.  I never played any Final Fanatsy game.  I just ordered FF IX and Chrono Cross.  I can't wait for some old school RPG action.

Klonoa: Door to Phantomile

Soul Reaver for me stands out enough from the rest of the games that I would call it my favorite. Everything about that game is great. Except for the getting lost and not being able to figure out what to do.

Easily for me it was the MGS series.  There a lot to choose from but thats the one that stood out to me.   I no longer have my PS1 unfortunately but the mermories will last my life time .

Metal Gear Solid.

Probably gonna have to go with Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 on this one. Yep, definitely THPS2.
