Disappointing

As expected, the grass starter is the best yet again.

Fucking horrible.  What the fuck.

It seems that no fire starters final evolution will beat Charizard. I'm also a little disappointed by these.

Another fire/fighting? Looks like I'll be getting the water one this time.

The grass and fire evolutions are all right. Certainly better than I expected based on the horrible, horrible designs we've been seeing so far. 
 
Not really feeling the water ones, though. The first evolution just looks like a beaver-fied Mudkip evolution, and the second is even worse.

Wow dude, Pokemon is so fucking stupid. I remember back in the day when it was actually something worth playing and worth talking about. Now it's just pathetic. What are we up to now, around 3000 Pokemon? Not only that, but its been on handheld systems for like 50 years. Honestly, the evolution(haha see what I did there) of the Pokemon franchise is way more depressing than even Sonic's.

Grass and water look pretty damn good. They coulda done better with the fire one though.

I hate saying the old 150 Pokemon were the best because it makes me sound old... but fuck the old 150 were the best. 

They really had to make Pokabu bipedal?  Really?  He couldn't have been something cool similar to a Ganon-like pig on fire?  Lame.  The only one I really like is the grass snake's evolution chain, but the rest are really, really disappointing.

I'm  still looking forward to Pokemon BW.

There's a huge disparity between the water forms, none of them connect, they all look too different. Especially between the 2nd and 3rd form. Yeah it's all disappointing.
 
Also the 2nd fire form looks like a rejected Looney Tunes character.

I dont really like how any of them look... they just aren't characters that you would want to evolve into. I guess I would probably go with the water pokemon though.

So we have a green dratini, a horrible fat fire manpig, and a weird four-finned seal thing with a horn and an epic stache, that bears no resemblance to the prior evolutions.

They should just give you Gastly as the starter since Gengar is the best pokemon to ever exist, besides maybe Snorlax and Slowbro.

Unevolved grass looks cool.  So that's 1 out of 9 at least.

I love how everyone is saying they are shit but several people in this thread has said each one looks fine.

The fire looks kinda cool, but also cartoony like most pokemon, the grass evolutions look a little too creepy to be pokemon, and the water looks fucking horrible

I like how people feel the need to judge the quality of the game based on the starters designs.

I final green evolution looks cool, but its lower forms suck. Remember the days when pokemon were based on real animals? 
 
Still looking forward to the game though.

Agreed, Although I do like a lot of the 100 added from gold and silver.  I think all the pokemon from Generation 1 and 2 (The first 250) were designed by the same guy or something. After that, others started to create pokemon and it all went down hill. "

These look ultra retarded, Nintendo stop making new Pokemon and give us a Pokemon fully 3D adventure/mmo.

Fire looks like crap. Water looks ok. Grass seems the best. 

I made the horrible mistake of choosing Chikorita but I think I may go with grass again on this one.

Fire type looks pretty bad, stocky pig man, who wouldn't want that?? But the last evolutions for water and grass look fairly cool. I'm sure most of the new pokemon are going to be retarded and stupid....but i'll still get it as i do with every new pokemon game because, i want to be the very best...

im pretty disappointed to be honest.

I'm pretty sure those have been proven as fake.  But then again, I'm not 100% up-to-date on Black/White news.
