Obviously we all have Pokemon we're partial to (I subtly hint what mine is). What's your favourite type though? I'm personally oddly partial to water, though I know they've got some sick-nasty weaknesses. If you cover them, though, badass.
I hate bug, though. There's a reason there's so few, I'm sure, and that would be Pokemon natural selection killing off all their useless carapaces.

Favourite and least favourite types?
Favorite: Dragon, with fire being a close second, and psychic being third.
Hated: Steel, poison, and grass.
Favorite: Definitely Fire and Psychic, been that way since Generation 1
Least Favorite: I guess Bug or Poison

"
Least Favorite: Psychic
The best type is Ghost...... Gastly, Haunter, Gengar
They're weak to: Ghost, Dark, Psychic
But can learn: Shadow ball, Dark pulse, Psychic (I always thought that was weird)
Plus immune to Normal, Fighting, and Ground
The worst type is Steel
" @ImperiousRix said:I kinda think Flying doesn't really get much better than the originals. The others are pretty weak but the Pidgey family isn't too terrible."You sir are crazy. Least Favorite: Psychic
Actually, if you want to get technical about it, the Pidgey family is the second worst of all the normal/flying birds out there in terms of both stats and movesets (Farfech'd being the worst). Of course, the only flying type pokemon I use with any regularity is Crobat, so take that as you will..." @samcotts said:

Favorite types though... I guess I like Psychic and Ghost. Maybe Fire, because fire has always had the most kickass starter with the exception of Ruby/Sapphire (Dude, Karate Chicken with blonde wig? What the hell. Pick Swampert instead.) I also like poison, despite the fact that Poison type pokemon always get the short end of the stick.
I could care less about most generic water and grass types, but for those who say that bug types are bad... five words: Heracross, Scizor, and maybe Ninjask. Shedinja would be awesome too if he wasn't so vulnerable and invulnerable at the same time.
Favorite: Ice
Least Favorite: Normal
Like: Water, Ghost, Dark, Dragon, Bug, Steel, Ground
Dislike: Fire, Flying, Rock, Poison, Fighting
Neutral: Electric, Grass, Psychic
Fav: Fire, Flying, Dark Electric, Grass
Dislike: Poison, any Pokemon whose main attacks leave annoying status effects.
I like Water, Grass and Ground the most. And I love the combination of them. Swampert and Torterra are awesome, even if Torterra gets annihilated by ice. Swampert gives the double bird to electric attacks. Plus, I love Mud Shot (Swampert devastated with that in Emerald), and both have Earthquake.
I'm also fond of Dark, mostly because loads of things learn Bite/Crunch which can take out psychics easily.
And because Absol is Dark type.
