I will probably end up getting Soul Silver first because back when Gold and Silver first came out, I got Silver first.

I'll get soul silver first but I'll probably get both.

Most of my friends say they are getting gold, so I'll get silver so it maximises my trading possibilities with my mates.

I'll be getting both, considering I played both Gold and Silver back in the day. Might as well relive them both!

When I bought FireRed, it was because I got Red first. I played that then got LeafGreen after a week or two. Mirroring my experience with the original Red and Blue versions. I received Gold and Silver literally at the exact same time- my aunt handed them to me when I was 7 years old. I fully intend to reserve and buy a copy of both on the same day, along with a DSi. For some reason, I have to play the remakes chronologically as I did with the originals. I think I'm starting a new tradition.

I'll be buying both, handing my girlfriend Silver and keeping Gold for myself. 

We'll swap all 3 starters 6 times, between both of us... then start the game fer reals :p

I picked Silver back in the day and will be doing the same now since I still think Lugia is way more bad-ass than Ho-Ho.

Way back when I was a kid I had Gold and my brother got Silver.  So I will probably end up buying Gold and one of my friends will probably end up with Silver.  I can't wait for the games to come out

I believe in both. A currency that is backed by both Gold and Silver and possibly even lesser metals for the lowest denominated currency.

Since I have no friends with a DS, I will be getting both. Besides, its not that expensive, at least for a 22 years old loser xD. Just kidding, I still cant understand why I still like Pokemon, maybe because it satisfies my most basic RPG needs. Who knows. Though if I had to choose. Silver. I prefer Lugia over Ho-oh every day. Besides, who can beat a well trained Lugia??? Max defense stas!!!

Gold. It's the one I had back in the day, and I'm gonna stick with it.

I used to have both games and Crystal, but since I now just have Gold and lost its competitor, I'd probably go with Soul Silver. I just can't buy both anymore. Especially since trading can be easier to do if I wanted to "catch them all".

I'll probably be getting both. If this is done right, it will easily be my favorite Pokemon game ever, so it will be worth it. Besides, I also own every RPG Pokemon game.
