Anyone know how accurate the step counter is? I logged over 20k steps today at work. When i checked after 2 hours, i had already added 7000 to the 500 i had when i walked into work.
Granted, getting about a 1000 watts while i am at work is just fine, I am not sure if my placement is tricking the counter. I didn't feel like checking it, walking 100 steps and looking again... since i had work to do.
How about you? Do you get lots of steps a day? Does it make much difference where you wear it on your body when it counts steps?

Pokewalker accuracy
No stepcounter is really accurate obviously, like if you bump into someone, it'll go up a step or two, or if you do stuff while standing still, like wiping a counter, it might jostle it, so yeah. I'm pretty sure the average amount of steps a day one needs to be healthy was like 3000 I think. We did a big step counter challenge at my school way back and that's what I was told to try and get every day. 3000's easy, I liked trying to get it to 10,000 steps a day.
A pokewalker at my job would be awesome, I should start doing it. I'd have watts out the ass.
does anyone go out without loading their pokemon into the walker on purpose? i collected a geodude today because i didn't take time to grab one before work. then i collected a Magby while i was playing with it on my lunch break.
also, almost got 21k steps again today. It looks like I do a shitload of walking.
" When you shake it nothing happens, but if move in a linear motion it detects that. I think it's a great peripheral. "Same. I actually put it on my dogs collar and left it there for a day. Guess how many steps I got. OVER NINE THOUUUUUUSAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

" So guys what's the step - exp ratio? "1 XP per step, to a maximum of one level per walk.
If you guys want all the details on what the Pokewalker can do, look no further.
