    What do you think? Do dogs exist, or does everyone have a Growlithe/Herdier?

    Do cows exist, or does everyone drink Moo Moo Milk and eat Tauros/Miltank steaks?

    Do seagulls go after your chips, or do Spearows harass you?

    What do you reckon?

    Humans are animals and they exist in the pokeverse, though I kind of wish they just repeated their own species name.

    "Human. Humanhu, Huhuhu!"

    Also we don't know about microscopic animals like plankton that are below poke size. Can Pokemon get Pokefleas?

    I was going to ask about how Pokemon could evolve without microscopic Pokemon to evolve from. But I guess in the logic of this universe, evolution is just a thing that happens suddenly once in a while. So maybe there were just rocks floating in space for a long time and then one just *poofed* into a Geodude.

    @wollywoo: that is anti-science nonsense.

    Everyone knows that scientifically evolution requires battling enough to raise your level and sometimes an additional item. So the rocks must have been smashing into other rocks to level up.

    Does that mean if I flick skittles into each other for long enough, one of them will eventually evolve into a Jigglypuff

    @sombre: probably Solrock or Kabuto. I would think Jigglypuff would require marshmallows.

    I don't know about the English translation but the OG Red and Green Pokemon games in Japan referenced an animal(Indian Elephant) and real places(South America) in the pokedex.

    I'm certain that's all been retconned by now.
