Every different month this year, starting this month, Event Pokémon are being given out that were previously event Pokémon, for the most part, like Mew and Jirachi. Some of these will be over wifi, and the others will be via serial code which will be handed out in specific shops. As I live in Ireland and Pokémon don't operate out of here anymore, I can't receive the serial codes. I have contacted both Nintendo and Pokémon about this last year regarding different events and was basically told they could do nothing to help. I was wondering if anyone out there would be so kind as to get a serial code for me or redeem the code and trade me the Pokémon?

@charzypool: I haven't heard about this, but it looks like Gamestop has these cards in the US. I happen to be going to a sandwich shop near one in a couple of hours, I'll stop by and see if I can grab a code for you.

@charzypool: Well I also own Pokemon Y, could I trade it to you with that? I've never even played it.

@mike: The codes are suppose to be for the specific region console but If you did a trade in-game that should work. The code should work for both ORAS and X/Y.

I may try just sending you the code first to see if you can use it, and if not then I'll try redeeming it and trading it to you. It'll save me from having to start up Pokemon if I don't have to. By any chance does anybody have an extra key laying around for Mew? Only reason I ask because I went to my local Gamestop a few hours ago and from what they told me they're already out, which isn't surprising and my fault for waiting 2 extra days.

I'd love a Mew code as well if someone can snag one for me. Nearest GameStop is an hour away so I can't really get one myself.

Just got myself a code today so I'm good. It feels like people are taking advantage of the system cause I see all over social media and twitch people are using them as giveaways. Seriously if people are going to abuse the system like this then why bother doing a giveaway like this over where you could just walk up to any download station at a gamestop and get one. I had to drive to multiple gamestops in around town till I found one with a code. Such a waste of gas and time.
