    Overview

    Pool Nation FX is a 3D billiards game developed by Cherry Pop and published digitally by Mastertronic for the Xbox One on March 31, 2015 (later becoming self-published). It was later ported (as a self-published title) to the PC, which was first released as a Steam Early Access title on October 7, 2015, then as a free-to-play title (limited to the 8 Ball variant, with all other features as piecemeal DLC) on December 7, 2015.

    The sequel to their previous pool simulation game Pool Nation, Pool Nation FX features an improved physics engine, enhanced online multiplayer (including a competitive mode where players earn currency for unlockables), and a new game variant: Snooker.

    The game was later used as a base for the snooker-themed game Snooker Nation Championship 2016.
