Overview
The Poseidon Energy Oil Rig is a deep sea drilling platform in the Pacific Ocean, 175 miles of the California coast. After the Great War, the platform became the headquarters of the remnant government organization known as the Enclave.
Background
During the Resource Wars of the mid 21st century, the United States won an international race to the last known pocket of oil, thousands of feet below the Pacific Ocean floor. The platform was built in January 2073 by Poseidon Energy in cooperation with the United States government. During the Great War of 2077, many of the elite and most influential leaders of the government and military evacuated to the oil rig, eventually forming the Enclave.
