Pravin Lal was a native Indian that was the Chief Medical officer and 3rd in command on the UNS Unity. After the tragic death of Captain Garland, Lal emerged as the figurehead of those who wished to maintain the U.N. Charter, a group that eventually became the 'Peacekeepers' faction. As a leader he is dedicated to cooperation and dialogue between the factions. This trait gives him double the votes in the planetary congress. His liberal tenancies attract the elite of Charon to his faction, this gives him an extra talent every four city levels as well as an extra two levels with a hab-complex. His greatest weakness is that his dedication to democracy and fairness results in a -1 penalty for efficiency and he refuses outright to utilize the police state civic.
